Gabion walls
The F-panel is a patented gabion wall solution for steep slopes developed in collaboration between Tammet and Viacon. The solution is a great and attractive alternative to concrete walls.
The structure of the F-panel consists of a large lower mesh to which a front mesh and rear mesh are attached using intermediate supports. A geonet and reinforcing fabric are also added to the product. Due to its modular structure, the gabion wall is easy to build and allows for tall gabion walls.
The space between the front and rear mesh is filled with rocks, and the rear mesh part is filled with earth one layer at a time.
The F-panel modules can be manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel (EN ISO-1461) or from stainless steel (EN 1.4301 / AISI 304).
