Ergonomic Truck Loading Platforms for Safe Material Handling

Safe loading and unloading of materials from trucks and trailers requires minimising fall risks and smooth operation. For this purpose, Tammet has developed a stable and ergonomic truck loading platform. 

The length of Tammet’s truck loading platform module is 6.1 m, width 1.2 m, and weight 900 kg, providing a stable and safe working platform in demanding conditions.

Durable Modular Construction for Demanding Worksites

The access level and stairs can be moved laterally by 380 mm, allowing the platform to be extended close to the trailer to ensure safe loading or unloading. The access level and stairs are made of safety grating, ensuring a secure walking surface even in winter conditions. 

Stairs can be installed at both ends of the platform, and integrated safety barriers on the long sides are included as standard equipment. With four modules, a loading area the length of the entire vehicle combination can be created, increasing flexibility according to site needs.  

When the vehicle length is 13 m, 4 platforms can be used, but if the vehicle combination length is 18 m, 6 platforms can be used around the unloading area. 

Transporting the truck loading platform is easy when the stairs and rails are placed under the platform during transport, and four assembled modules with equipment fit on a 6-metre long trailer. 

Truck loading platforms made of hot-dip galvanised steel ensure excellent durability and a long service life even in demanding conditions.
