Retention walls

The F-panel system, developed jointly by Tammet and Viacon, offers an impressive, durable, and flexible gabion wall solution for challenging terrains, as well as a modern alternative to traditional concrete walls.

At the core of the system is a robust F-panel, which consists of a large base mesh, front and back meshes that can be attached, and intermediate supports. Additionally, a geogrid and reinforcement fabric are attached to the structure, which together strengthen the overall solution that withstands earth pressure. The modular structure also allows for the construction of high and wide retention walls without heavy concrete castings.

The space between the front and back mesh is filled with stone, giving the retention wall its natural and expressive appearance. The back mesh is filled with soil, creating a stable structure and allowing for the controlled implementation of steep terrain features.

F-panels are made from either hot-dip galvanized steel (EN ISO-1461) or stainless steel (EN 1.4301 / AISI 304), ensuring excellent durability even in demanding conditions. The stone-filled structure naturally blends into its surroundings and provides a refined, timeless appearance in both urban and natural settings.
