Platform gratings and stair treads

Tammet offers gratings in a wide range of models, measurements, strengths, and materials. The gratings are supplied in standard measurements or manufactured in accordance with drawings.

Gratings and stairs can be manufactured using different methods:

Pressure-welded grating is the most common type of grating in maintenance platforms and stairs. Manufactured by pressing the bearing bars and filler bars against each other and simultaneously welding them together.
Pressure-locked gratings, of which there are two kinds. In one type, the bearing and filler bars are of equal height while in the other type, they are of different heights. Pressure-locked gratings are manufactured by pressing slotted bars into one another. Pressure-locked gratings are used in e.g. facade cladding and suspended ceilings, and as ventilating grates, railings, and sunshades.

And suitable for various areas of application:

Vehicular gratings have good load-bearing capacity that makes them suitable for traffic and vehicle platforms and for industry.
Safety gratings have a small hole size for safety, as tools and small objects do not fall through the grating. Also suitable for wheelchair ramps.
Anti-slip grating, an indented grating with excellent slip prevention for demanding and slippery conditions.
Stair treads are used in fixed stair solutions that are combined with level grating maintenance platforms. The front edge of the step has a safety edge to prevent slipping.
