Tammet’s high-quality edge protection systems replace traditional wooden guardrail systems with durable and impressive guardrail barriers. Edge protection barrier meshes improve site safety by preventing people and objects from falling from the upper floors while making the edges of the building clearly visible.

Edge protection solutions give the site a modern and finished look, and they significantly improve the level of safety compared to traditional wooden solutions. 

By using our White Label service, edge protection systems can be customized with the customer’s own colours and logo, which also serves as an effective reinforcement of the company’s image. The solutions individualised to the customer communicate the company’s identity to everyone on the site – while at the same time fulfilling their key task of ensuring safety. 

Tammet’s barrier solutions ensures ease of use and flexibility on different sites. You can use guardrail posts of different heights with a mesh holder, and at the construction site, a suitable post base is also selected for the for the right application, depending on the mounting base. 

 
The barrier solutions meet European regulation with EN13374 standard and as well Finnish regulation; Government Decree 205/2009, which both ensures a reliable level of safety in accordance with each local regulation. 

Tammet can provide edge protection systems according to several standards additionally, such as:

• ANSI / ASSE 10.18 

• OSHA 1926.502 

• CAL OSHA 

• AS / NZS 4994.1 

• Edge protection barrier regulations of all Canadian Provinces and Territories 

The product’s strengths are its long-lasting structure, in addition to its efficient pre-treatment and the high quality of the powder coating. If necessary, we can offer solutions with other types of coating or coating combinations as well.   

The carbon footprint of our barrier solution is already smaller after the fifth use than the carbon footprint of a similar, partly disposable wooden guardrail solution. Our experts will help you find a long-lasting and environmentally friendly solution for your special requirements. 

In addition, our edge protection system products have standardized environmental declarations, EPDs (Environmental Product Declarations).
