Platform gratings and stair treads
Tammet offers a wide range of gratings for many applications – in different designs, dimensions, strengths and materials. The gratings are delivered either with standard dimensions or manufactured according to the customer’s wishes.
We supply gratings and stair treads using a variety of methods. Pressure-welded gratings are a common solution in maintenance bridges and staircase structures, and they are produced by pressing the carrier and binding steels together and welding them at the same time

There are two types of pressure gratings: models with the same height of binding and carrier steels, and models with different heights.
Pressure gratings are ideal for architectural applications such as facades, suspended ceilings, ventilation grilles, railings and sun shading.
Our range covers solutions for multi-tree industrial and construction needs. Vehicular gratings offer excellent load-bearing capacity for vehicle platforms and demanding industrial applications.
The safety gratings prevent small objects from falling through and are suitable for tool platforms, for example, while the serrated anti-slip gratings offers a particularly good grip in slippery conditions. Stair treads complement the level structures, and their safety edge effectively prevents slipping.
We supply platform gratings and stair treads for a wide range of applications – made of pressure-welded and pressure-locked gratings according to the customer’s needs.
