Protective mesh

Protective mesh is used in applications where there is a need to protect, restrict, or prevent people, animals or goods from damage. Such applications include railings on e.g. balconies, terraces, and lift holes.

Our protective mesh is also suitable for sites requiring protection from moving machine parts, falling objects, or electrical equipment. The mesh also protects pipe holes in ventilation structures and smoke extraction. Other mesh applications include filling for e.g. bridge railings. The mesh can also be used for architectural purposes.

Welded protective mesh

Welded protective mesh can be used in e.g. suspended ceilings, facades, partition walls, machine guards, etc. Welded protective mesh is manufactured from steel wire that can be powder-coated in RAL colours. The steel wire can also be hot-dip galvanized or zinc electroplated. The mesh is easy to shape and cut. The mesh is delivered as flat sheets on pallets, which makes the product easy to transport and prevents damage during transport. The wire dimensions in a standard mesh are ø 2.8-4.8 mm. The wire meets the requirements of standard EN ISO 16120-2:2011. Welded protective mesh can be manufactured to order in wire thicknesses of up to ø 8.0 mm.

Woven protective mesh

Woven mesh is manufactured from black or galvanized steel wire. The mesh can be powder-coated in RAL colours. Black and hot-dip galvanized steel wire meets the requirements of standard EN ISO 16120-2:2011. We can manufacture corrosion-resistant wire to order. Protective mesh is manufactured by weaving crimped steel wire:

Flat-top crimping (FT), where in the top surface of the mesh is flat

Lock crimping (LC), where the wire is crimped into a tighter crimp than required for the gap between holes. In this mesh, the top and bottom surface are identical.

Expanded metal mesh

Expanded metal mesh is durable, easy to shape, attractive, and suitable for a wide range of applications. Expanded metal mesh is manufactured from sheet metal by cutting and stretching it. It is manufactured in different measurements, strands, and thickness. The mesh can be powder-coated in RAL colours. Expanded metal mesh can be hot-dip galvanized or zinc electroplated. Manufacturing raw materials for standard products:

Cold-rolled steel, thickness 1-2 mm

Cold-rolled steel, thickness 3-5 mm

Welded raw materials

Expanded metal mesh is also manufactured from stainless and corrosion-resistant steel, aluminium, corten steel, brass, copper, and zinc-coated sheeting.
